  As a couple of backpackers we were amazed to find this shop open on a bank holiday, let alone one with such great service. Everything we could have possibly wanted was in stock, with all of the produce being of very high quality (our favorites were the home made orange cake and the fresh goose eggs). The young woman at the counter was chatty and kind, filling up our hydration pack and even offering us a lift into town! I can't recommend this place enough. Overall an essential pit-stop for any hiker or backpacker in the North Kent Downs.
